Revitalising the TelstraSuper Financial Planning brand and enhancing four advice products demanded a commitment to simplicity. Recognising the intricate nature of finance, we embraced a straightforward and uncomplicated approach to demystifying complex financial matters.
Recognised as a leading profit-for-members superannuation fund, TelstraSuper’s dedication to financial wellbeing encompasses TelstraSuper Financial Planning (TSFP). This specialised division offers personalised advice, catering to the unique and evolving needs of the Fund’s diverse membership.
TelstraSuper Financial Planning Brand Uplift
Understanding that members require varying levels of advice throughout different life stages, TSFP introduced a new option designed to address specific financial concerns. Our task was to bring this innovative advice product to market. However, before showcasing the latest offering, we needed to step back and reassess the TSFP brand, its value proposition, and how the new product could seamlessly integrate into the TSFP family.
We crafted an overarching value proposition — “Life’s complicated. Get financial advice that’s simple” — and devised fun, active names for the suite, including “Step it up” for the new product. Each product received a distinctive colour code and playful icon, visually uniting the TSFP family through an infographic that dynamically “grew” with the complexity of advice options, inspired by life’s twisting journey. This work flowed across various channels, from the website and brochure to campaigns and an explainer video, providing members with easy-to-digest and comparable information across the entire advice range. The outcome? Simple communications on a complex topic.
